Clinical Trials Compliance HELPLINE

The University of Florida College of Medicine is committed to conducting research that advances science and improves an individual’s health and well-being.  Additionally, the College of Medicine is committed to ensuring all research is conducted in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations. 

If you have a concern about a violation or a possible violation of any federal or state regulation regarding the conduct of a clinical research study, you should immediately discuss the matter with your immediate supervisor.

If you are not comfortable talking with your immediate supervisor or you are not satisfied with the response, you should contact your Department Chair or the Clinical Trials Compliance Office.

By reporting your concerns, you are giving your department/Clinical Trials Compliance Office an opportunity to work with investigators and staff to problem-solve specific situations.  In addition, policies and procedures can be reviewed and clarified to ensure compliance with federal and state law.

If you would like to discuss or report a concern anonymously, please call the College of Medicine’s Gator Compliance HELPLINE at 1-866-574-2867. All calls to the HELPLINE remain anonymous unless you choose to disclose your identity.  The voice mailbox does not have caller ID or trace-back capabilities.

If you are uncomfortable discussing or reporting a concern to the College of Medicine’s Gator Compliance HELPLINE, the University of Florida offers a confidential external reporting system.  If you would like to discuss or report a concern using this method, call 1-866-500-3344 or you may report a concern online at The Network’s Web Reporting System.

Any University of Florida faculty, staff or student will be subject to disciplinary action as a result of failure to comply with federal, state or UF policies and procedures. Knowingly failing to report misconduct in research may also be subject to disciplinary action.
